A warm, grounded community for allied health therapists who are ready to stop carrying it all alone. Real mentoring, real connection and real conversations, with me and with people who truly get what you hold.
Most of us came into this profession because we care. We care about children and families, about advocacy, about doing right by the people in front of us. But caring that deeply without anywhere to process it, reflect on it or simply put it down for a minute means carrying everything on your own, and over time that gets heavy.
I know, because I have lived it. I have been the whole team. I have sat up late doing notes and invoices, feeling like I was letting everyone down, while trying to keep a business afloat and keep myself in one piece. The Haven was born out of one of the hardest years of my life, and out of the moment I realised how many of us were quietly doing exactly the same thing.
The Therapists Haven is a place to be seen in both the mess and the magic of this work. Leave the performance at the door. Bring your questions, your wins and your wobbly days, and know that the people around you understand exactly what you hold. This isn't another network or association. It's a circle of therapists who show up for each other.
Because when you feel held, your clients feel it too.
Sixty honest, spacious minutes to connect, reflect, ask the questions you've been sitting on and feel held in community. You don't need to have it all together. Just come as you are, cuppa in hand.
Walk and talks, board games, coffee dates and the occasional very competitive round of mini golf. These gatherings are optional, joyful and wonderfully simple, and members can bring a friend and receive 10% off ticketed events. Joy is professional, after all.
A quiet, kind space to ask questions, share ideas and celebrate the small wins nobody else notices. I moderate it personally and jump in when you need me, and the peer encouragement in there is something really special.
Can't make it live? Every meet-up is recorded, so you have ongoing access to a growing library of real conversations and practical guidance for your practice and your professional development.
Whether you're a speech pathologist, OT, psychologist, physio, counsellor, educator or student therapist, you are welcome here. It doesn't matter how long you've been practising. What matters is how deeply you care.
I'm a speech pathologist, mentor and clinic director with over 17 years across not-for-profits, the disability sector and private practice. I grew Perth Hills Allied Health from a few mobile days a week into a full clinic, and I've learnt an awful lot along the way, mostly the hard way.
I've mentored therapists, led national PD, chaired the Private Speech Pathologists Association of WA and been named one of Australia's Top 50 Small Business Owners. But titles aren't what shape the way I hold space.
What matters to me is creating a place where therapists feel seen and supported without having to perform or prove anything. A place where you can say "I'm struggling" or "I'm really proud of this" and be met with care, not judgement.
You don't have to figure this out alone. You just need somewhere steady to land.
You start your week feeling grounded in what matters. You respond to clients, families and colleagues with clarity instead of second-guessing yourself. You ask questions freely, share ideas openly and never feel like you need to mask or hold it all together to look competent. You feel proud of your work again, and around you is a calm, consistent circle of therapists who understand exactly what you hold.
That's what the Haven was built for. And that's the ripple: when you feel restored, every session, family and life you touch feels it too.
Steady guidance when you need it and a supportive community when you want it. Instead of a single one-to-one session, you get ongoing access to me and a whole circle of therapists who walk this path with you.
Your joining price stays the same for as long as you remain a member. If the membership price goes up in the future, your rate doesn't change while you're inside the Haven. It's my way of honouring your trust and the courage it takes to invest in yourself.
If you'd like to feel what the Haven is like before you join, come along to a monthly meet-up as my guest. Your first session is free, so pop your details in and I'll send you everything you need.
You deserve a place to breathe, reflect, grow and feel held.
I can't wait to welcome you in.
